The intention was to take the limes out of the bag and use them in a still life with other objects as usual, but when I placed the bag on my table in the studio, I realized that WAS the still life. The elusive mesh bag was begging to be painted and I'm glad I headed the call of inspiration. How often we overlook the ordinary and don't take in it's simple beauty.
