Oil Painting Classes - Ongoing

Wherever you are in your art journey, I will help you take your next steps in painting from life in oil - even if you’re a beginner. I will have a still life and subject prepared for us, will give a demonstration if needed and we will spend time painting together while I give guidance throughout class.
This is an ongoing class held every other Saturday where my topics of instruction will be dependent on your needs. For instance, if I see drawing could improve, we will spend time sketching before class. If color mixing is a challenge for you, we might make some color charts together. If you would like help on certain types of objects, we will focus on that subject for you.

Easels, palettes, poppy seed oil medium and paint (if needed) will be provided. Please bring your own brushes and canvas/boards. Please do not bring turpentine or mineral spirits.
Classes will take place at my home in Horseheads New York and I will send you the full address after you’ve registered.
If you miss a class I can give you some extra time during your next class, but refunds will not be given for missed classes unless another student can be found to take your place.
Due to possible space limitations in the room there are currently only 2 openings per class. More openings may become available if I decide there is enough room or I may add more classes soon, so please join the waitlist below if this class is full and you’ll be first in line.
