It's subjects like these that remind me of the limitation paint has for representing real life. These roses from one of my bushes have such intense color that I can't really put a name to it. It's a peach/pink red and nearly impossible to mimic with paint, but I gave it a good effort. The fragrance in the studio almost matched the vibrance of the petals. There's nothing quite like flowers from your own garden!
